Honda ATVs tow up to 600kg loads. With market leading engine braking from the steel gear transmissions.
- Most 420cc models are rated to tow 385kg. Enough for a range of trailers / spreaders and spray units.
- 520cc Independent rear suspension models can tow up to 600kg. Ideal for most farm spray units, fert spreaders and trailers.
Honda's range of ATVs are designed to offer the perfect mix of weight, balance, throttle response and comfort for long days in the saddle mustering. With solid rear suspension for a planted feeling or independent rear suspension for additional comfort over rough terrain.
If you are on a life style block or flat farms, a 2WD model may suffice. However, if you are in hill or get wet ground conditions then you will likely want the option to use 4WD. Honda's 4WD models offer an easy lever or button option to move between 2WD and 4WD, allowing low cost running in 2WD for general use and additional grip when required from the 4WD. For especially tough conditions, make sure you have a model with Diff-lock.
When it comes to long life on farm, there are a few considerations. Quality of the ATV, suitabililty for conditions and regular maintenance.
